Beyond The Shore Vacations

Very nice for fall activities. Purchase pumpkins and decorations. Activities for children such as petting zoo & hayrides. Donuts were delicious and make sure you try the free wine tasting!

Not a 5 acre corn maze!!!! I’m very confused about this corn maze. The website states: “A GIANT corn maze that covers 5 acres of uncharted territory with over 3 miles of trails. Yep, we planted 5 acres of field corn, then cut an intricate design of pathways. How long does it take? Well, you could get lost in there for days.” When we arrived we turned into the lot with the sign PUMPKINS! CORN MAZE! (the two things we came for). From the road it looked like the maze would be pretty big. Once we were in, our group split up and we went down our own paths. About halfway through we all ended up together and we pretty much followed one path out to the exit. All in all it took maybe 10 minutes? I’m extremely disappointed after going in with the expectation of it being a 5 acre corn maze. I thought maybe there are two mazes and we’re at the wrong one? But I’ve scoured the website and nothing indicates that there is more than one corn maze, so I have to assume this is the attraction they describe on their website. Which is wildly misleading. We did not do anything else at the farms, so I can’t speak to anything besides this maze. We came, spent 10 minutes in the maze, those who wanted pumpkins picked some out, and then we left. (We didn’t do the hay ride.) I would not be so disappointed in this maze if it wasn’t marketed as being 5 acres. It seems like maybe it would be fun for small children, but I don’t have kids so what do I really know. Look elsewhere for a big corn maze! This is not it! And if you have any suggestions for challenging (and not scary) corn mazes, someone let me know!

This place was extremely pricey for the actual value of the place. 6 per person, per activity. The petting zoo was actually the biggest disappointment. Limited animals locked up. Also PLEASE take better care of your animals! The cow was skinny, very dirty, and it’s hair was completely mated with feces. The hayride was okay, nothing special. I’ve gone to places that include the pumpkin with hayride purchase. It’s sad you have to pay 6 for the hayride per person, but also pay 15 additional for a pumpkin. On the positive side; the apple cider, the donuts, and the pies sold were very good. Overall it wasn’t a terrible time, just extremely overpriced.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! Not only is this place unjustifiably expensive but the Owner is such a pos. We drove over an hour to come here as my friend has come here for years and boasted about it. Brought our families here and spent over 80. In total we spent 54 for a petting zoo. PETTING means TOUCHING THE ANIMALS. Apparently the owner thinks kids can reach over a fence 2’ taller than them to touch animals. JOKE! This place takes your money while falsely advertising their activities. Believe me when i say there is WAY better farms with MUCH better activities at a FRACTION of the cost!
