I was completely ignore as the father when my child was in the NICU to what seemed to be because we were not married. That was what I was told when it came time for me to sign forms for a procedure for my newborn daughter. Even though I had already signed birth certificate and VAP. All information went pass me and I was treated like I didn’t matter.
