Through my passion for design I want to show that beauty is in the simple everyday things. If you look closely, you will find beauty in many things around you. Mooi Goed Collection Industrial design is more than just design. A product has to look good, but I believe it’s important that a product is pure and sincere. No high tech but straightforward honesty. It should tell you immediately where it is made from, how it works and where you can use for. “Mooi Goed” is Dutch and means something like “Beautiful Good” or “Beautiful Goods”. De Mooi Goed collection consists of candles, hooks, tealights and bookshelf support’s, all made in The Netherlands with care and eye for precision and quality. The simple archetypical design gives the collection a timeless feel. About me My name is Christian Kocx and I live with my wife and three children in the centre of Turnhout in Belgium. In 2006 I graduated from The Design Academy Eindhoven (The Netherlands). Immediately after my graduation, I started my own design office Kocx Ontwerpen. I designed for various brands, and my products were featured in several exhibitions in The Netherlands such as The Dutch Design Week and Inside Design. Internationally there was interest for my designs with presentations at Salone del Mobile in Milan. My designs were also featured in different magazines like Elle Living, Ell Fashion, DPI magazine, Plaza Koti, Ideat, Objekt International and Abitare.
