Took Bus 108 from Apeldoorn train station to this Hotel. Great helpful bus driver, very nice. Hotel Buitenlust has very natural and beautiful surroundings. Restaurant downstairs. Great place go stay. Highly recommended.

Can be quite crowded. Food is good, prices reasonable. Kitchen closes quite early (20:30). But there are nicer places on the veluwe.

Little chaotic place.Food is reasonable good.But things you ask for not being done, then steak not being asked how you want it and getting a raw one. All waitresses have been at the table multiple times asking what we need.There is no guide i who does what. Hope they change rapidly cause with a little effort the place could be great.A little right management couls do the trick cause looks like great people.
Very mean treatment of the waitress. Any visiting to this restaurant is not suggested. And, there is no English menu, it's a nightmare for non-Dutch speaker with the unfriendly waitress.
It's a family owned 3* hotel, that's perfect for visiting the national park very close by. The 'continental' buffet breakfast was fine and - if you eat meat / fish - then lunch or dinner is very nice.
Personnel is lacking situational awareness. It seemed as if we were consciously ignored by the waiter. We had to wait 10mins before waiter came to take our order.
