Finally, I got here! The most unique and incredible place all over Hoboken. A real old bakery and pub in the same place! Boom! it just blew my mind! How come?! Wanna know? Come here and ask your server! He’s gonna tell you a real story of this place. They all know it. And it worth your time to come here and listen. A real script menu, amazing atmosphere, unique exterior and interior. The BEST STAFF I’ve ever seen. The real team! Food is so good, but homemade bread is above and beyond! Drinks are okay. I would so recommend this place. Our first time there and it was fabulous. The service is great, the food (we had the big steak) was unbelievable delicious and the desert was a perfect ending not to mention the maitre d'. He was beyond kind, made sure we were happy and thanked us to come again which we definitely will. Thank you. Antique Bar & Bakery for a wonderful night.

Antique is the best! ALL the breads are unreal and the menu is so unique. My favorite is lasagna edges, meatball and can’t forget the cookie skillet!

Wonderful food and takes COVID precautions very seriously. Their mixed drinks (bourbon old fashioned) are tasty, creative, and strong. I also had their an asparagus appetizer, lasagna edges, priest strangler pasta, and bread pudding to share (for 2 people this is already way too much food). True to the eclectic nature of the restaurant appearance, the food also was curated with thought and creativity. My Priest Strangler pasta stood out as the pasta itself was excellent, and would not be surprised to hear that they made it in house or procured it from a pasta shop in the neighborhood. A fun note, I believe the chef or desert chef actually came out to deliver the bread pudding, which was a pleasant surprise. The bread pudding itself was fun and clearly utilized fresh bread pieces. Very delicious and very sharable. A note on some cons as there are never perfect restaurants. I would say that the prices a bit high, but certainly going into the territory of Manhattan dinner prices. Just was not expecting that for a bar/pub/restaurant type. Second, the lighting was very dim and I had trouble viewing the font on their paper menu. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend to anyone that was looking for something a little different in Jersey City or Hoboken.
