If you like arts & craft then this is like a toy shop equivalent. There are plenty of choices for most hobbies, personally I like model making of which there are plenty of kits, tools & gadgets to help you build them. They even have Revel kits for kids as young as 4 years of age. At this time there was not a great deal of paint or brush cleaner on the shelves for the kits, although these can be purchased online. I bought a few Christmas gifts here including a picture sewing pattern for my wife. They have so many choices for young kids including scientific research/experiments which are educational. I would return here again if I required more gifts for hobbies including for myself.

Did Not Go Here For Myself, But My Wife Is A Crafting Addict So To Her It Was Heaven. It Does Look Very Organised In There I Have To Say. I Presume It Has Everything A Crafter Would Need. So This Rating Is More For Her. Would I Go With My Wife Again, I Would As She Loves It There.
I love this store. I always find what I'm looking for, including things that I'm not looking for. Lol. If you ever need custom framing, ask for Connor. Today he helped me out with a frame job and he was so much help. He was easy to talk to and work with and extremely precise and a perfectionist. I appreciate that since I am the same way. I loved the outcome of the job and I'd definitely send people here for this kind of project.
Love this store. As an avid crafter, it's my heaven. Staff ar not always easy to find which means I have to spend more time there browsing so not always a bad thing. Can't wait for them to reopen.
I love Hobbycraft, and not just because they have been stocking my own fabric range, but because they have so many crafty goodies under one roof. I can usually get pretty much anything I need. My only bug bear (and I have mentioned this on multiple occasions in store) is that I struggle with the tills as a hard of hearing person, because there is no customer facing display on the tills. This means I struggle to hear how much I've spent, and when it's busy and lots of people are talking I have to ask 3 or 4 times for the amount to be repeated. This is a bit embarrassing and so I end up just handing over my card and hoping for the best. Otherwise Hobbycraft would get a 5 star from me!
