Great staff with a lot of knowledge especially on food! Lot of variety but limited options per category. Shop cat is a lovely addition to the store too!

This is a great pet shop. Been in a few times and the staff helped with food choices for my 10 week old puppy who suddenly refused to eat. After trying 3 different versions of the food they recommended in a puppy taste test (yes to turkey, no to duck or fish!), I finally managed to get him to eat. Thanks so much to the 2 staff who helped me with their recommendation as his belly seemed to tolerate it much better and I finally had him back to eating after being worried!
One of the best pet stores i’ve visited, as in, most ethical. They don’t really have livestock other than fish, rats (i think) and hamsters - which puts your mind at ease that there aren’t large, intelligent animals living in cruel store cages here. What they DO have at pets corner is a fantastic array of food, toys, housing, grooming for almost any type of pet. More than that, the staff are friendly, passionate and very knowledgeable - you can tell it’s much more than a retail job to them and they all have interests in more than one area of pet care. Definitely worth a visit if you have rodents, cats, dogs or are a fishkeeper.
I love it when my hoomans take me to Pets Corner Hitchin!! I’ve been going there since I was a pup and went to the fun Saturday puppy club! They are always lovely and if I’m good I get a treat!! Plenty of advice for the hoomans and a lot of great toys, accessories and food for not just dogs but all sorts of animals!!!
Fantastic staff, good quality products, highly recommended, 5 stars.
