Like most reviewers we originally stumbled upon Hirst's on a visit to Knaresborough. Now if we're travelling up or down the A1 we have to call in and stock up. Hey, who am I kidding! We often drive to Hirst's from Rotherham just to stock up on treats. Try the Spelt with honey bread, delicious with blue cheese or brie!
Discovered this bakery when my son moved to knaresborough. I call every week. Warm welcome on entering the shop. Everything is fresh and delicious.
