Great grill restaurant for steaks and ribs etc. Prices moderate and the various food we have tried are well cooked and tasty. Staff friendly and some do speak a little English. Cafe gourmand was delishious and a hit with our table. House red was excellent and went well with our dishes. One restaurant we always consider when staying in the area on our way through.

Bon jour! As we frequently stay at the Pullman's we visit the place quite often. The Hippopotamus was refurbished giving it a more open and brighter design. All in all good service, good quality meat and all at reasonable prices.
The food was excellent, great value and the staff were very helpful even though I know only very basic French.
I ate here yesterday and loved it. My waitress veronique, was adorable, so pleasant and Efficient. The French onion soup was super and my burger was well cooked Really liked the pre dinner thin crisp like potatoes. Very popular spot and nice atmosphere. A relief to find it in a not so nice area
Excellent food and extremely kind attendants. A great, unexpected surprise for a chain restaurant. A little expensive but totally worth it. Will come back again.
This place is terrible. They took forever to even ask for our drinks. Once we were able to get our order in our food came out relatively quick, but it was also terrible. They also didn't have a lot of the items in the menu and it wasn't exactly cheap. You're better off eating at Mickey D's down the road.
Excellent menu, food, space, wine, great people
Pleasant, small chain serving plenty of varied meats. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was cooked to perfection but perhaps a little pricy (although it’s a long time since I’ve eaten in France - I could be wrong).
