Great pub which offers lovely food. They always have good home made specials on their menus & their pies are fantastic! Their Sunday lunches are really nice. Large garden and large covered outdoor area with tables. Dogs are made very welcome both outside and in the pub.

We really did not find this place covid safe... The venue itself is lovely with a good outdoor area... But no masks worn by staff despite taking orders close to people, no screens by bar so face to face service with no protection... No one way system... Toilets free access so cross over of people... Lack of communication about how to order and pay.. Lots of staff dealing with same tables so face to face with so many groups (closer than one metre at times)... 5 staff behind bar in a small place... Noone taking people details... At least one group of more than 6 outside... Just overall incredibly disappointing and made us uncomfortable. Such easy changes but it felt like a lack of care... Food wasnt 100%

We just had a wonderful meal. The whole team were so hospitable and Steve chatted to us after our meal - a really friendly, welcoming warm pub. The mussels were the best either of us have ever had and the ribs and wings went down a storm too! Keep up the brilliant work guys! We have already made a booking to return this Saturday to try more of the menu!
