Voted most beautiful place in Austria 2018. You only have to visit to see why. Breathtaking location. The Posterstüberl itself, only has the best staff, food and refreshments one could hope for in such a glorious place as this.

If the view was not enough to make our lunch break enjoyable, the food made our stop at the Polsterstüberl unforgettable. We had the Polsterjause and enjoyed every bit of it! Only produce from the region and at a great price.
Picturesque setting with some really good dumplings.
30 minutes from the car park, at a gentle relaxed pace. Along the way enjoy the weir, lake and mountain views. The cosy cabin atmosphere inside the cafe is perfectly enhanced by the plethora of antique wooden artifacts. Chunky wooden tables and chairs prepare you for the homemade food on offer. Outside is a bar area - open in the summer months, and gas heating for the winter if you wish to sit outside and enjoy the views. A traditional Austrian welcome awaits you!
Really nice restaurant in a very scenic area. Great food and very nice staff. Lovely to see so many different kinds of animals around!
Typical Austrian food and drinks, small playground for kids. Horses are next to this place but are not for riding. Cash only!

Excellent food and friendly staff. Perfectly nested back into the mountains of Hinterstoder, lots of hiking trails to and from this place. Great experience, also try their Radler
