Ordered brownies and cupcakes for my brother's birthday who lives locally so he could collect. They look delicious, great service and a happy brother! ( Shame I'm not there to share!)

A lovely little cafe in Burbage village. They serve breakfast until 11.30am when the lunch menu swaps in. You’re made to feel very welcome and there is a nice choice of food including the cake counter with fresh made unusual cakes, I had the Belgium waffle topped toffee and fudge cake. Or you might consider the brioche french toast with maple syrup, which is definitely a winner.
Stopped here on the way to Nottingham on the motorway. The very short diversion away from the motorway was worth it. A real gem of a find. Delicious food, friendly staff, beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The atmosphere was relaxed and homely. I had a chicken pesto melt and was too full for cake, but the cakes looked really delicious.
