We have 2 springer spaniels and this is one of our favourite places we take them. It has everthing such as large open fields, thick woodland and marked trails. A great day out for the whole family.

Fosse Meadows is beautiful! Good for dogs and children. It's very well kept! And has obstacle courses for children as well as a park! Hours of opening differ frim summer to winter

Great park, full of plentiful vegetation. Full of long, sprawling routes to explore, with the benefit of viewing wildlife along the way. There’s an array of areas to park, with wide spacing for even more accessibility for disabled users. There’s an area for the children, with an extensive playground for kids to clamber on. Car parking is completely free, so it’s beneficial if you want a free, relaxing day out. Occasionally there’s a food truck to purchase warm food and drink, if required to do so on a chilly day. It’s a dog-friendly park, so you can exercise and interact with other dogs freely if you wish to do so. Can get muddy in later, damper seasons, so bring waterproof wellies or boots. Everything is high quality, well-kept and proper, with litter well maintained, and plenty of bins to dispose of rubbish.

Amazing just how many people Fosse Meadows can absorb. Car park seems full yet you come across few people. Good activity trail for children in addition to play area. Great variety of trees. Note the meadows and the trail by the river can get very wet. At busy times it can seem like dog city...but then that's one of its functions.
