Second taxi ride of the day and what a difference. Fast present service. Clean car and driver spoke English. Took the most direct rout to my destination. Definitely a good idea to book ahead as they are very busy. But that’s a sign of good service in my mind. Definitely worth the wait or the pre booking.

Absolutely awful service. Booked via their app the day before my trip. I had booked to be picked up at 8.15am in order to get a 9am train, plenty of time given it’s a 20/25 min drive. Taxi didn’t arrive until 8.37am in which he was surprised as he had only been given the job a 5 minutes prior to picking me up. Had tickets booked in advance costing 50 missed my train and when trying to call the office no one picked up on at least 10 attempts. I will never use a1 again and I will make sure I tell everyone about this experience.
For the 3rd time in a row I’ve booked a taxi the day before for 7am to get me to work as no buses on a Sunday and yet again they message and say due to high demand we are late! Not fair on people that need to get to work on time! Completely unreliable. The second time the driver was really rude, went to the wrong house and blamed me! I think I know my own house number! Won’t be using again.
I ordered a taxi for a 5 minute drive he went the long way back he got to the destination with the meter saying 6.30 instead of 5 as he went around i asked to pay by card and he rang up his office to process my payment during the meantime he left his meter running the bill up to nearly 10 he didnt say anything to me when i asked why with no communication at all just straight rip off i feel robbed
