Lovely little market of handmade bits every Thursday 10-1pm
like
small community centre with rooms available for different group activities or meetings
It serves good healthy food in the cafe and the people there are friendly. They have a film club that shows some pretty good films and there's also a storytelling group that runs storytelling events. Oh, and most importantly the place is not pretentious.
The Hillcrest is a great place. Lots of hobbies and craft classes. Lots of parking. Fun for all ages, and a lovely café too!
What an amazing place. I have just been to a friend's birthday party there and it was amazing. Lovely building.
