The best supermarket in Hildesheim Ochtersum area. Prices are rather expensive but qualities and variety of items are beyond them. Staffs are also friendly.

The best shopping place in Hildesheim. You will get everything you need to buy. The vegetables and fruits are extremely fresh and great variety. My preferred choice of super market in Hildesheim.

The place is huge, but so cramped it feels claustrophobic. In terms of choice, it's basically rewe on steroids. Some more exotic fruits and veg, some more ready made dishes. The butcher is huge, but it's mostly sausages. All in all, smaller supermarkets offer an easier experience. Also, avoid like the plague on Saturdays. It's full of old people who inexplicably choose this day to shop.
