Lovely little pub,we where staying locally and called the pub to see if the could accommodate us at short notice after reading reviews on trip advisor,young girl booked 3 of us in for 6pm,the Resturant is very friendly and welcoming with very reasonable prices,wife had surf and turf and I had the chicken in garlic with hand cut chips and veg,large portions one of the best meals we have have had for a while Will drive back next week when we go back to york to try something else At must visit
What a brilliant place to eat. The staff are all exceptionally polite, helpful, friendly and pleasant. The food is so tasty and the portion sizes....wow! They don’t stint on anything. I wish we weren’t just on holiday locally - this would be a pub We would visit constantly if it were near home! Most excellent!
