I've been going to Lishi classes weekly for about 5 months and have enjoyed my time there. Before Lishi I used to go to another Tai Chi class but gave that up because the tutor and the attendees weren't as helpful as I'd expected. Not so with my tutor (Lucie) or the other class members who are all positive in nature and always willing to help (Lucie has to keep us in check at times because we're enjoying ourselves too much!) That's not to say there haven't been some days after sessions when certain muscles aren't shouting ever again\ but it's true when they say 'no pain, no gain' and for me the gains are better balance, more stamina and a quieter mind. I'd recommend Lishi to anyone who wants to exercise or meditate but doesn't want a gym atmosphere, and age (I'm 59) isn't a reason to say it's not for me. Give Lishi a try, perhaps you'll surprise yourself.

I didn't know what to expect when I started this class a few weeks ago. It is a mixture of different moves and exercises, suitable for everyone. I find the classes interesting because there are different exercises each week so one is never bored. Lucie, the teacher, is lovely and makes everyone feel welcome.

I started Tai-Chi class in Sep'2016 and i was not sure what i signed up for.. but to my surprise I found it really interesting, something new to learn. As they say learning never stops and same goes for Tai-Chi. I thoroughly enjoy each class, it is relaxing and new moves every-time. The slow movements really relaxes the body and mind. I have realised for the first time that the slow movements and focus can actually energise you compare to the physical pressure. I can connect Tai-Chi lessons to mindfulness no wonder it is called meditation in motion. Lucie the tutor is lovely and very friendly. It is a worthwhile experience, go for it :)

The class is leaded by Lucie, who is always welcoming and patient. The way she teaches Li Shi is very relaxing and fun at the same time . After just few clases I have been more aware of the connection between my body and my mind. I have learned respiration techniques that I use now when I want to focus on work or simply relax. I recommend the class with all my heart )
