The University undertook a major development of the High Wycombe Campus with a large structure, known as the Gateway Building, being built onto the front of the existing building. It won a RIBA award in 2010. A state-of-the-art complex, the Gateway offers a rich mix of commercial-standard facilities, including a sports/events hall, fitness centre and performance lab, dance and drama studios, sound design labs, music recording studios and video production suites, a modern integrated learning resources centre and meeting and conference rooms. It also has green screen facilities and a motion capture system.

I thought this was a rubbish uni when I went there but looking back and comparing it to the uni I am at now they are quite good actually. The facilities are great, the library is open 24 hours well it was when I was there in 2013. The teachers were very supportive when I struggled. The counseling service was helpful and nice. High Wycombe is not a nice place and its boring as hell but its close to London so its good for after you graduate. The building is really big as well. I definitely felt like I was at university here and although there was a lack of clubs I still had a great time here. I wish I'd not dropped out and stayed.

If first impressions are anything to go by NBU seems a really great place . Staff and student staff were friendly and welcoming on induction and move in day . Rooms and halls were sparkling clean excelling well above other grotto style halls we have viewed. Lots of shops and massive sainsbury's, Aldi and Lidl within a five minute walk . Shopping centre called Eden seems to have all the latest shops and facilities needed. Seems like a nice place to leave your kid for the first year at uni whilst finding their feet !

BNU has been a great learning experience for myself. The lecturers are caring and attentive, always willing to help and the material has helped me grow professionally in order to become work ready. The careers department is incredibly helpful allowing, through their temp agency, students to supplement their learning with relevant work that is invaluable to leaving as a well rounded individual about the tackle the eal world\. So many opportunities have come out of my time at BNU and I have loved studying here.
