Super cute family owned BBQ joint. I think the BBQ here was pretty tasty. I really enjoyed the smokiness (I love smokiness) in the meat. My favorite meat was their ribs so if you go definitely get that with maybe a baked potatoe. Or maybe just get a sandwich. Their BBQ sauce went perfectly with the meat. Only downside is in my opinion the meat was a tad dry (besides the ribs) and the sides weren't all that great. It was a bit salty for my preference but I'm not a salt person. Although they have pretty good customer service.

Hickory Stick Bar-B-Q serves delicious BBQ with friendly service. They’ve been around since the 1970’s, so lots of tradition here. I’m impressed to see they are adjusting to the times by offering pull-up service. Just park in a numbered space, call the phone number on the sign, place your order, and your food will be brought out with a smile.
I used to come in this place almost every week because they had the best portions but lately they've been real skimpy. I ordered a 3 meat plate the other day and they gave have me 3 little ribs with hardly no meat and 3 small bites of brisket and sausage. I'll be going to Off the Bone on Mansfield hwy from now on...i got the 3 meat there and they gave me so much meat i couldn't finish it. Ribs were thick... and gave me SLICES of brisket and sausage not bites. Forget Hickory and their skimpy portions im doing Off the Bone from now on..... they give you what you pay for, if not...more. There's a reason why OTB line is always wrapped around the corner.
Food is very satisfying/hits the spot. Large portions enough for 2 meals. Employees are super sweet and go above and beyond, you'll feel just like family here.
Can't go wrong. Volcanoes and frito pies are my go to. Peach cobbler over banana pudding.
