A fantastic place for wildlife in Norfolk. One of the NWT's flagship reserves and very well managed. 4.50 entrance fee includes parking; a visitor centre/gift shop, toilets and picnic area are reasonably accessible by wheelchair though the reserve itself is typical grass footpaths, which can be wet and muddy at times, and a few boardwalks dotted around the more marshy areas.

There wasn't a lot to see in terms of birds....maybe I just picked the wrong day. Pleasant enough walk on the nature trail, one of the hides was off limits and another was full due to social distancing guidelines. Im sure at other times its fine.

Incredible place with several miles of waterways. You can rent a boat or use your own canoe to travel the Broad. Rich wildlife. Birds watching is very popular in this area. Several species of birds,ducks, goose to be observed.

A lovely nature reserve and very nice staff . We visited twice during our holiday and saw some fantastic wildlife including swallowtail butterflies ( eventually) we got cranes flying over . Plus loads of other bits . Well worth a visit and will definitely go again next time we are on holiday.
