We stumbled across this place while walking around Newcastle and I'm so glad we did. James our barman had the best customer service skills and made us feel welcome from the second we walked in. We absolutely loved the decor inside and the view when walking up the stairs is out of this world. We will absolutely visit here and James again on another trip to Newcastle

Very special experience. The restaurant and bar are both so gorgeous. Food incredible, just a lovely dining experience. Staff great.
Fantastic place. Really well organised and the staff are brilliant, can’t do enough for you. Restaurant section is really good as well. Really good atmosphere and tables etc are well laid out for the current situation. You can order from the bar staff at your table or via the W8R app on your phone. Top marks.
The oysters and chateaubriand we ate were very nice., washed down by a nice bottle of Merlot. However I think the location being in Big Market doesn't help the overall ambiance where they accept table bookings for both food and drinks. We found that when you have a large table in earshot of you who are loud and just having drinks can have an impact on your evening.
Late afternoon lunch with my daughter, her choice. Service was professional, friendly and prompt. Food was presented well and although not huge portions was filling and tasty. My daughter was even provided with a Vegan menu as she is a vegetarian, which I thought was excellent. Bread was provided with the meal to. Nice atmosphere with a different choice of food.
