I really enjoyed my first trip to Hi-Tide for lunch today. I love fish and chips but don’t often find somewhere they will cook in oil not used for meat or chicken. The very helpful waitress Pauline suggested the specially cooked gluten free option which is cooked separately. It was excellent! Freshly cooked for me with a delicious crisp light batter and perfect chips cooked in the same way. Full marks to the team here!

Hi-Tide has been around for years and for good reason. They cook the best fish and chips around for miles. They are a traditional chippy, serving freshly cooked, crispy battered fish and the most fluffy, crispy chips you could wish for. Do yourself a favour and head down, you won't be disappointed. Been going here for many years, as a lad with my nan and even to this day when we fancy a takeaway... Hi-Tide is always up there!
Great service and excellent fish & chips, no more to say.
