Very impressed with the social distancing measures. The shop was very well laid out easy to follow rules. Lovely man at the door cleaning the trolleys and giving advice on the measures in store. All the staff in store were very helpful. Well done Homebase. Definitely will be coming back !!

I visited the store just before closing...I was delighted to find the Christmas trees had been reduced. I was served by a wonderful person who had actually served me last year ,again with a reduced Christmas tree...I live alone and wouldn't usually buy a tree for myself so it was lovely to be able to afford one at 6..and with the assistant being so helpful on both occasions it's made me feel great...this time I asked for his name as I intend to send him a Thankyou card. His name is David Gray at the Hexham branch in Northumberland.

Just popped in to pick up a small amount of cable trunking, now I appreciate there's this covid thing kicking around but to make me feel like a leper for wanting to pay 3. Cash is a little belittling. Having only just sanitised my hands on entering and the assistant was also wearing gloves I didn't think it would be an issue, after all it is still legal tender. Trust me, it's just as dangerous for me to enter your shop and touch your products as it is for you to accept my pennies. Next time I'll not bother and just go somewhere else instead.
