Lovely wee jail tower. Not a great deal to see inside, but well laid out and staff very friendly. Admission price allows for 1 year of access to the premises.

Great find. Signs everywhere but you walk up the street not even expecting it on the right hand side walking up the hill. First part of our day out in hexham complete.
DO Not go to Gaol in the early 1700s you wouldn't like it, no re-offending afterwards you tended to be dead, A little expensive but I enjoyed the visit. Also enjoyed Visiting the Abby as well
Not really a lot to see here. The place itself is an interesting building but the exhibits are a bit low rent and there's a lot less information than you'd expect even when taking into account their clearly low budget.
Fantastic, full of interaction for all ages: Considering how small the building is they've utilised the space very well. The first and second floors have interesting displays, most of which are interactive and on the top floor, there are activities for the children. The lift descends into the dungeon below which is very unique. Cheap entry fee too.
