Very nice hot food, very generous portion sizes and friendly staff too. Only downer was on the phone the lady said it would be ready in 15 minutes to collect and when got there, there were 20 to 25 people waiting outside shop, so turned into a 50 min to an hour wait. It was a Friday like so not complaining as it was nice and all staff were very apologetic.

What a place! Great portions, curry sauce was splendorous. Very flavourful fish and chunky, crispy chips. Would most definitely recommend Heworth Plaice to anyone visiting York or lives near by.
