Nice location on Rue Mouffetard. Loved the cheese fondue with the salad and potato. Highly recommended. The house white wine is delicious as well.
Don't be a tourist and get cheese fondue.. GET THE MEAT FONDUE! Or the meat grilled on a hot stone with the holy trinity of SAUCEZ. No I dont know what they are but thats irrelevant. Did I mention its all you can eat??? 18 per person. Not too shabby.
THE POTATOES WERE DELICIOUS and the shop owner is such a lovely man! Very kind and took care of us! On a perfect and lively street that helps set a wonderful French mood! I recommend this to anyone craving fondue! The chicken beef and cheese were wonderful!! The photo is of the after math !
A friend took me to this place on my first trip to Paris and I made a point of coming back this time too. The restaurant is small and cosy, and the host managed to give us a table even if the place was full. The cheese fondue is delicious and a few kir de cassis will give you a great night of sleep. Definitely on my permanent list of best places to eat in Paris!
Three is more than enough. It's a bit overprice for the quality of the food. The beef wasn't special. The style of cooking of the stone is nice but far from impressive if you have experienced it before. The fondue is OK but the baguette wasn't fresh. The quantity is enough but they have too much to improve. I would not come back only with my couple again. Maybe, it would be better with a bunch of friends. Be aware that the attention also need to improve. I felt that they were rude because we wanted to order only one plate (not possible if you are two) but we have already tasted a bit of a salad with very low quality vegetables.
We went for the fondue bourguignnone with beef and duck! 3 different sauces. Tasted fine.Sauteed potates as weel ! Dont hesitate to ask to re heat the oil :) Good portions, we were very full at the end
