1st time we've been this amazing park & was presently surprised.. Lovely little lockdown winter walk, nice lake with fountains & a nice cafe to enjoy a hot chocolate whilst kids play in the playground area.

Beautiful as always. We love this park so close to our home and has a children's park, Rose garden and exercise mechanic things! Great for all the family, throughout the year.
Clean and well maintained. Always makes for a lovely evening walk with the kids and the dog.
Lovely park an outside cafe takeaway tea. Good for walking round and always discovering new things.
Hesketh Park is a delight to walk through, with a lovely lake in the centre (non off leash for dogs), an original Observatory, numerous garden beds and a fantastic rose garden. Unfortunately, the council has chosen to underfund its maintenance and the gardens are in very poor condition, with the beds and rises having wonderful weed displays. Perhaps various community groups could take responsibility for a section each and provide monthly maintenance? If you enjoy a lovely 'green' stroll (about 2km), the circuit is very nice
