I hadn't been to this delightful country pub for a long time but my friend and me were welcomed by Nada, the manager, who remembered us from months before. Shortly after our arrival we were introduced to Sandra who is the assistant manager and everything was explained to us about ordering etc. in a very professional but friendly manner. We took our drinks and sat in the secluded and very pretty garden and eventually ordered our food which arrived very promptly - the dishes were hot hot and delicious. The garlic mushrooms were superb! Nada and Sandra were attentive throughout without being intrusive and everything was done to make our visit thoroughly enjoyable. Shortly before we left we met Jenny who was working behind the bar - she was also very nice, friendly and welcoming. I cannot recommend this pub enough - it is delightful and the best asset they have is the people working there. Please visit _ I'm certain you'll love it.
After reading many great reviews online about this place I decided to go for dinner with my partner. The staff are very friendly and the food was great! The owner came out to make sure we was happy with our food which was a nice touch. Very reasonable priced. Great family run pub. I shall be returning 5****
Gorgeous pub... Set in the most idyllic location. My wife and I were staying locally for an Easter break and stopped by the Farmer's Boy for food. The menu is very varied and there'll be something on there to suit your tastes, ranging from traditional pub grub to something a bit more fancy. Lovely beer garden plus plenty of outdoor space at the front too.
