Great care is needed here. While there are some competitive prices, others are far from competitive. On top of that, items are sometimes charged at a higher price at the till than shown on the shelf. If you don't have your wits about you, or don't have your receipt (which you don't get unless you ask for), you WILL be ripped off. Of course it's classed as an honest mistake when you notice, but if you don't, they win every time. While most of the staff are fine or better, two are very awkward and/or rude.

I find Herons has so many bargains. Have always been very satisfied with all I have bought there. Plenty of choices. Excellent variety of food. Products.
Great shop in the middle of Louth. A vast selection of food, frozen, fresh, tinned, veg, fruit and alcohol. Also an internal cash machine. Open till late Monday to Sunday. Nice helpful staff. A shop that has most thing's under one roof.
Very good range of bargains very clean
Heron have those items you always want at the right price no frills attached.
