Lovely staff. Always nice and clean inside.
Went into shop for a last minute shop b4 closing & due to my friend being ill I was on the phone making sure that I brought the correct items. This Lady named Ann-Marie was standing at the door wanting to close. But b4 leaving I was asked to buy a cheap bottle of Perry wine. This lady said that she would not serve me this bottle as I had to much to drink!!! I do not really like alcohol so rarely drank. I did NOT SMELL of alcohol & I was not SLURRING my words!! As its been nearly a week since my last glass of Snapps & lemonade. I asked her if I wanted to buy a pack of nappies wud she serve me? She lied & said yes. She Clearly wanted to close & insulted me in the process. She had no grounds to refuse I left most upset. Ann-Marie clearly needs to be retrained & updated on the laws of Alcohol service.
I am not disappointed. My problem was I forgot to put on my mask. I did my shop and paid at the till. Nobody in the shop questioned me not wearing a mask even after spending 45 minutes in the shop.
