Good for kids
Lovely place to get away from it all. The trust has spent a lot of effort to make all the paths accessible during the winter muddy season. Hats off to them!

Lovely quiet walk just be careful you don't get lost
At the moment the car park is closed but a few places to park at side of road near entrance Its was lovely. The dogs really enjoyed all the new smells. Saw some wild Heather clumps about which was delightful to see, keep an eye out for the large ants and nests. Didn't walk too far but will explore more next time. Added some pictures to show wood. This is no reflection on the woods itself, but the fly-tipping was an awful sight we saw three sites Garden waste, broken garden furniture, children's toys and a fridge! Would recommend we loved it I set you a challenge as to where the tree with plaque is, as pictured!!
Took our year old boxer for his first visit to the woods, he loved it and so did we. We will definitely go again, only 1/2 an hour from home...
A lovely woods to take our two rescue dogs that are nervous. Great for exploring for kids too
