nice restaurant with great food at reasonable price
like
We have eaten here regularly over the many years that we have visited Périgueux. The owner, Romain, speaks excellent English, the staff are attentive and the food is always superb. Frequented by discerning locals and visitors alike - highly recommended.
5 years ago we enjoyed dinner at that restaurant. This time we hardly recognized the restaurant because the service was less than poor. It might be so that hotels are recommending that restaurant for people who ask for a \good\ restaurant. The consequence was the restaurant room was full up to the last place, with 3 chaotic waiters. So huge breaks between the courses appeared because of \forgotten\ items or waiting for the bill. Recommendations or explanation by the service was strongly missed. The service is not well organized and seemed to happen more or less randomly. The output of the kitchen was OK, but in relation to the price not worth the money. Next day we found better restaurants in town. We were very disappointed of \Hercule Poireau\.
worth to go, really nice meat and the terrace is perfect for sunny days. The restaurant has a cool design, fancy/modern place to take a girl on a date.
Amazing food, ambiance, service team! The St Jacques scallop entree, Duck main And chocolate tart were stellar. One of the best meals I've had in France. Definitely worth the visit to Perigeux.
Great food in a very peaceful setting right in front of the Périgueux cathedral. Romantic atmosphere, with very attentive service along with a great, curated wine selection at reasonable prices.
