We have driven past \The Herbert Arms\ quite a few times but today we called in for Sunday lunch. We had our two little dogs who were made welcome along with ourselves. The pub was nice and warm with the log burning stove in the restaurant and another in the bar area. We had Turkey and Beef along with home cooked veg and all the trimmings. The service was excellent and so friendly. The trifle and hot chocolate fudge cake were delicious and very decent in size. We are very glad we called in and will definitely be calling in again very soon.

The pub is dated, friendly staff staff though very welcoming and they are really helpful but then again there was only 3 others in the pub. It is reasonably priced but the food isn’t great. You get a big portion but it is very bland and the meat in he roast was super dry. You could tell it was frozen veg and the meat was also slightly burnt. The choice of drinks is not vast you have four different types of Carling to choose from and that’s about it. I would recommend to avoid.
Called in for Sunday lunch on our way into Shropshire. It's a lovely little place. The food was delicious and served promptly with good service. Excellent.
