Had needle session. Nothing relaxing about the place. Extremely noisy. The towels they used smelled sweaty and dirty. The lady got extremely annoyed when I would not buy any of the products after the session. Never again

I really dislike the sales approach in this shop. I have gone their on three occasions for acupuncture and after each treatment I was taken into the ‘office’ by the receptionist who very persuasively attempted to sell me herbs and multiple treatments at a discount. The approach is closer to that of street trader than medical professional. The fact that the medical professional can’t speak English means that the communication is minimal and poor. After today, I will not be going again, primarily as a result of their really pushy sales approach. I have had enough of it. While the herbs and acupuncture may work, I hope to find a medical professional that has a clear and open price list. In my opinion this centre has more of a sales focus than a medical focus.

Avoid,Avoid,Avoid. Following an appointment with my local GP, I was diagnosed with a neuralgia issue in my head. I was prescribed meds but discussed trying Accupunctre. My GP had no objections especially if it worked. I called into the centre and spoke with Lucy at the desk. I wasn't given much alternative other than, try it and you will feel the benefits. After my session I was subjected to the same sales approach as the previous reviewer. I was advised by Lucy that I would need 6 sessions at 70 per visit and to buy herbal tea and liquids for another 40. I was reluctant as I hadn't budgeted for such expence. Lucy offered me a deal of 270 for 6 sessions and the first packet of herbal tea and liquids for free. I paid this amount and had my next session a few days later. After finishing this visit I was brought into a room and told I needed to buy more tea and liquids. I was also advised that I should take an allergy test. I was offered this at 120. I declined and was unhappy at the pushy sales approach. Following my first two visits I had remained taking my meds and my condition has improved greatly. I decided to cancel my four remaining Accupunctre sessions and seek a refund on the balance. (270645 per session) When I informed Lucy and the male who worked there that I was seeking this, I was told that they have no refund policy. Lucy then told me that my two sessions would be charged at 70. Her partner overruled her and said that I would receive no refund. I have informed them that I will be going legal with this but in the meantime all I can do is advise anybody else who is considering using this business to reconsider.
