Exceptional food and atmosphere, I'd say just a tasting menu away from being Bath's next Michelin starred restaurant but it's also so good as it is. Enjoyed it so much I forgot to photograph the pudding, but they were great too!

An inventive little restaurant in Bath Dinner Beautiful presentation, especially the starters and desserts Delightful combination of flavours and texture, one of the best crab dishes I have had in the UK, the dehydrated fish skin on the cod was very light and crispy, the cashew nut ice cream tasted smooth and flavourful The bread came with delicious butter - the sweetcorn polenta was underwhelming Lunch Succulent chicken with paper thin crispy skin The beans served with the chicken was unusual but was surprisingly delicious Fantastic desserts, the unique panna cotta was combined with interesting textures of nuts and fruits, the warm chocolate tart had a creamy chocolate centre with a nicely baked crust soaking up the basil custard - Pollock starter was a bit bland - chocolate tart presentation could be improved
Interesting flavours; I hadn't experienced pigeon quite like it before. For me, the squid starter was overpowered by the apple, but there was a great mix of textures going on. The portions are small, but the flavours are rich. Grant, our server, was friendly and attentive.
Every ingredient on our plate tasted absolutely delicious. We had a great dinner here with great service and ambience. Decent COVID protocols in plac. Tables well spaced out. One suggestion could be to do away with paper menus but otherwise would happily come back again!
A really lovely dinner. We had a wonderful evening under the COVID 19 protocols with friendly staff and superb food. Lamb ravioli was punchy and full of flavour, while my partner's squid was super fresh. Then we both had super flavoursome game as main course, followed by a great British cheers plate. My only regret is that as a non local we can't really go back!!!!
