Leah was amazing! My son is rock obsessed and being so sick of the rain we came in to mine for the first time. He was in heaven and thought \finding gems\ was the coolest experience. He did not trust the identification chart and his mom so practically every rock he had to go ask Leah what kind it was...amidst other customers as well and she had so much patience for him. She answered EVERY question and even came over when she could to be right with him when he found something. Then when we were done, she took us around the store and showed him all the other things and answered even more questions! What a great experience!

We had a phenomenal experience! My six year old daughter loves rocks and gems so we took her here while on vacation. The staff was super friendly and helpful checking on us while we looked for gems. We spent 60 (the mid range) on a very large bucket of sand. We expected to find a few small gems, what we got was 2 very large ones a few dozen other sizes. My daughter loved it and my wife and I had a blast too. And if the gem search isn't your thing they have a very nice gift shop that is priced very reasonably. I would recommend checking this place out if you are in town!

This is by far the best gem mining place we have ever been too! It is so clean, well designed (they have a low wash station just for little ones to reach!), and a great variety of gems in their buckets! The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable! Highly Recommend!!!
