Wild and magic
Went with the kids to go stargazing on a summer night. It was magical, if magical means 'full of learning about astronomy'. This place is an urban woods, so during the day you can still hear the constant hum of traffic, but it also means that all the major walkways are paved. There are rabbits and squirrels and at least 1 fox to try to spot as you ramble, not to mention the totem statue. Plenty of dog walkers but I'm pleased to say they mostly have good etiquette (along the paths at least; expect loose dogs in the wooded areas) and they are well catered for when it comes to waste disposal bins. I've been down there dozens of times and haven't seen any fly tipping which makes a very nice change from a few years ago, and of course makes a walk even nicer.
