We fell in love with this place. It's a gorgeous place to be with friends, eating national Finnish food as much as you can, drinking good beer, or one of many available wines. We will be back! The staff is so welcoming and nice, they explained us the story of the restaurant, the specialities of the menu and the wine selection. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the salmon mousse which is served as appetizer. The reindeer stew was tasty and creamy, fitting perfectly with the potatoes smash and with the berries. I was too full to try the dessert but I'll definitely try next time!

Last week we decided to take a ferry and go to Helsinki. We visited the city and before returning to Tallin we went to this restaurant. 24 euros per person for \all you can eat\ of Finnish cuisine: simply fantastic! Many choices: appetizers, first courses and soup. All delicious, the ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked. The reindeer meat was amazing. There were vegetables, potatoes, salmon soup, many starters, 2 types of fish and 3 types of meat. If you come to Helsinki you must visit this restaurant. Everything was perfect and the price is good (especially for the Finnish standard). The restaurant is very nice and the staff is nice. the girl who welcomed us is very nice and gave us all the information about the food! RECOMMENDED

The food and service here are both excellent. I am not Finnish and wanted to sample some traditional dishes. They do a buffet for 20 per person that allows you to eat as much as you would like. Dishes on offer for example are salmon vegetables soup, reindeer meat, moose mince, pork stew, chicken thigh, salmon, mashed or boiled or cream potatoes (I do not know the proper name for all these dishes). They also have some salad / cold options such as egg butter, pickles, and so much more. Every dish was delicious, and my group very much enjoyed the food. We were not prepared and did not make a reservation. However, they let us sit in a private hire room for two hours which was extremely kind of you. This is a really good restaurant and it is cozy. Beer, wine and spirits available to order with your meal. I would make eating here a top priority when visiting Helsinki. Be sure to reserve a table though as it is a popular place.

Tasty homebrewed beer, good soup and salads. In the dining room adjoining our table there were lots of war pictures with swatikas and drawings of cruel war scenes. Walls were all covered with this. The waitress told us some \elderly people\ like to meet there. Swastikas are no swastikas, she said, but Indian symbols for good luck. The drawings told a completely different story.

You feel like in a supper at Local Finnish house. Fish soup is a good start. You can taste a reindeer’s meet here. I tasted yes but it was a bit strange to me. Chicken also another choice, I also ate nothing special with it. They have a strange meal which made by beef, tasty. I also tasted a Finnish dessert which made by cheese. You can check my pictures that I uploaded. Lovely money collection on the wall.
