Beautiful castle next to the water. I really loved the train ride from Copenhagen to Kronborg Castle. The scenery was beautiful! I really liked the castle and all the information available. There were actors dresses up that would greet and interact with guests. The hike up the Tower stairs is definitely worth it for the gorgeous panoramic view of the city. Highly reccomend visiting here!

Everybody knows it form Hamlet, but the castle is interesting in its own right. The fortress has many historical features to admire. Views from the walls are impressive.

Wonderful castle, full of history and very well preserved!! The tapestries collection is amazing, with wonderful Flemish made tapestries ordered by different Danish kings. Do not miss the enactment of different parts of Hamlet story and check their schedule at the entrance of the huge inner courtyard.

'To be, or not to be' - I got to see this famous Shakespeare's play enacted by very talented actors yesterday. Kronborg, the castle on which Shakespeare has based his play, is a very beautiful piece of historical art. The small city of Helsingør has a lot to offer to people who love the combination of art and history.

The castle of Hamlet and one of the most popular day trips from Copenhagen. It is a really impressive looking and interesting place to visit. It is not so richly decorated as most of the other castles but there is a lot of information so you can learn about the castles history and how the king lived back then. The Great hall is really impressive and there are some old tapestries. Dont miss to visit the underground tunnels and see the statue of Holger the Dane. The tower was closed when we visited but I believe the views from there would be great. You can also walk around the ramparts of the castle.

Highly recommended place due to its historic importance. It is located on the extreme north eastern tip of zealand and its one of the very old castle built in 1400s by Danish king. Nice place surrounding the castle and a beach nearby. This is also the place where William Shakespare's famous tragedy Hamlet was performed first time. Interiors though not maintained that well.

Such a beautiful place, full of history, mandatory to visit! Located in Helsingør in Denmark, immortalized by William Shakespeare in Hamlet, as Elsinore. It is one of the most important Renaissance castles in northern Europe and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000.

It is one of the oldest castle in Denmark . Good nature around, the castle itself is build with high prestige and you can see every details/corner of the history. The garden and it is just 20 mins in other side of Helsingborg, Sweden. One of the good places to visit with in Denmark .
