As a family we have had the need to use Helping Hands twice. The first time was live in care for my father who had terminal cancer. We wanted to keep him in his own home and the only way we could do that was to have help. Helping Hands sent David, an absolutely awesome, caring, knowledgeable guy who just knew what my dad and we needed. Although David's time with Dad was short, he made a huge difference to us and was a true professional throughout. Now we are using Helping Hands with my father-in-law who is old and frail and just needs a little help with tablets, and food etc. every day. Again, I cannot fault the carers, they are cheerful, pleasant, and on the ball. Nothing is too much trouble. I can highly recommend Helping Hands and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Helping Hands is a place which truly care's about their customer's and carer's, My team in Wakefield truly are outstanding and provide a high quality of care to all customer's old and new, our customer's are the heart of everything we do. I am currently the Care Coordinator and my job is to ensure people can stay in their own home's and i will work with professionals and family to create a care package suited to the customer's needs, my heart lies within the care sector and can truly say you will not be disappointed if your loved one or yourself became a customer at Helping Hands.
I have been working for helping hands since October 2020. Fabulous place of work! great team work and communication! I would definitely recommend if looking either to work in the care sector or need care for families.
The team & management at Helping Hands have been absolutely tremendous in supporting my mum & dad in what has turned out to be a horrendous 12 months for my parents. Emma & the care team continuously went above and beyond.in many ways. The communication was second to none, always picking up the phone if there were any worries. The team were also as reactive as possible and always tried their best to accommodate changes in circumstances. Thank you sincerely for supporting my parents in their final traumatic year or so.. You probably don't know how much your support helped us in those tough times. x

I started working with helping hands August 2018, since I have been with the company I have made great friends with fellow employees and management truly felt as a family unit. All are a friendly bunch and truly have caring at the heart. Myself and all others will go the extra mile to ensure clients have the best possible home care anyone could expect. I truly believe going the extra mile helps our clients feel at ease with everyday routines. My clients have all been really amazing in so many ways and to put smiles on there faces, the stories we tell means so much to me and going out of my way for them with anything they need or want ill go beyond to help and care, the bonds, friendships will last a lifetime I've made.. really amazing place to work its more than a job it's a family. P.s don't need cleaners- im a wicked good cleaner ill get what ever you need done
