Been to many abattoirs in my time but only use Heller & Son now. They have the best set up and it's nice and relaxed for the animals Matthew is great with the livestock and makes you feel at ease. Really helpful staff and takes the stress out of it all. I highly recommend them to anyone who cares about what happens to their livestock.
Popped in as passing through. Cracking young lad behind the counter, my sirloin were sublime and the chicken and mushroom pie was superb. We enjoyed a joke over a man sized steak which we both agreed was the only way to eat it. Great place and traditional.
