The abbaye Saint-Michel is a great place to go. Every room have a little panel explaining what it was use for. You can then learn a bit about the life of the monk.The ruin are in really nice shape and on the top of the tower you'll have a nice view.

Very interesting place. The walk to arrive the Kloster is nicer than the ruins itself.

ruins of a 11th century monastery with a tower that you can climb. great and easy hike for the family.

Hiked from Heidelberg. It took 1 1/2 hours. Seeing the tower through the woods for the first time really was awesome. That justifies the hike.
