Jack is a consummate professional and really made a phenomenal difference to a newly made (and expensive) flamenco guitar that I asked him to look at. He set up it up removing some annoying buzzing and made it more comfortable to play, making a new compensated saddle, adjusting the nut and a full fret redress. I was nervous as this guitar had also been to another technician who missed the playability issues and had not completed other work to a standard I would expect. I highly recommend Jack.

I just called Jack to ask if he was able to modify the nut in my new acoustic guitar. Due to the COVID19 outbreak he isn't able to take my guitar yet unfortunately. Assuming that he works from home or his own shop and would no doubt be itching to do business I think making the decision to not take my guitar as very selfless as he expressed his concern for COVID19 potentially having a second wave. He spent 10 minutes with me on the phone offering so much very useful advice on my options. He recommended tools that I would need, specific videos I could watch and another guitar repair place that may accept me. I hope his business really booms when we enter a safer time. He showed no care for money but loads of care that my guitar sees a great and positive outcome. Thank you Jack. Conor Newland
