Ordered a pizza on a Thursday evening, delivery time was over an hour (even though the restaurant is a 5 minute car journey from my home address) however I understand takeaways are busy at the moment. I was delighted when it arrived within an hour however when I opened the box my pizza looked like it had been thrown round in the car it was an absolute mess! I rang the restaurant who offered to send another but after waiting for so long just wanted a refund which they happily agreed too and said a driver would come back for the pizza. (Which I was very grateful for). I waited an hour and a half before ringing again to be told they were too busy and a driver wasn’t coming anymore. I wasn’t best pleased to say the least, after waiting an hour for the food and it to arrive in the state it did and then waste more of my time waiting for a driver to come and get it. Customer service could have been much better in my opinion. Not sure if I would be returning after this experience. Definitely would not opt for delivery again.

I ordered tonight chilli burger for my partner and chips chilli and garlic for me and a tub of garlic and tub of chilli, the 'chilli burger' had no sauce so was 4 for a plain burger, tub of chilli sauce was like bbq sauce and the garlic was like mayo chips weren't that good either. Won't be returning.
Every time I have ordered the food has been fabulous, its piping hot and tastes delicious. Friendly staff and fast delivery. I highly recommend Ace Pizza as it's the best in South Tyneside
Kebab pizza was 10/10 the veg inside was juicy. The chips are fresh the Donner is juicy. Clean establishment and beautiful food. Hugely recommend.
