I can only review as a staff member, not a customer. I worked here from August 2014 to May 2016. I absolutely loved working in this home, and felt that Heathside was a wonderful home. My colleagues were professional, attentive and supportive to each other. I felt like I was part of a massive family. Unfortunately I left the organisation due to the management company at the time (Anchor), and their practice. I felt staff were often under valued and they were feeling uninspired by the powers above. I have to say though, that there was a long list of families wanting to move their loved ones in to the home, and it was always full occupancy. The quality of care was outstanding, and most staff members were long term, and had been there for a number of years. I moved on to work in another care home that was aesthetically pleasing, but under the surface was below standard in terms of care and the staff turn over was extraordinary. I wish in some ways I had stayed here for longer, although I felt I had done as much as I could in my role. I have now moved to a different job sector, although my fond memories of Heathside will always be with me. I learned a lot from the people I worked with, and the people we looked after.

Amazingly friendly staff, super professional
The staff have been amazing throughout this pandemic. I'm so deeply grateful that my relative was here with them.
I have tried calling numerous times over the last day or so amd no one seems to pick up the phone!! It just keeps ringing I am using number provided on website so I shoudnt think its incorrect!
My grandmother was staying at this nursing home back in 2017 Apparently she was moved to another home but they never sent any letters or even phoned to let us know After contacting them to find out where she had been moved to they lied and said another care home,so I rang the care home they suggested and they had never had her in there residence I called them back to find out what had happened and where they moved her to and after being very rude on the phone they hung up on me After trying to call them many times after they refused to answer the phone All they care about is money,not interested in the health or well being of there residents Very unhelpful and very suspicious practice Would not even let me know if my grandmother was alive or not Avoid at all cost if you can,never felt so hopeless in a situation than when dealing with this place Judgmental,rude and very unprofessional not to mention the fact that they lie about what happened and where vulnerable and elderly people are They also refused to put me through to there manager and had me calling at different times with no communication Seems like the nurses stick together and run the place
