Great hidden attraction.Small artisan shops with s visitors centre for the old mine ( currently closed re covid restrictions).Great cafe in a historic building with old machinery on shoe.Large adventure playground (free).The kids loved this as well as the gardens tgstbtell the history of Cornish miners influence across the world.An absolute must visit when in this part of Cornwall.
I love the gardens, so quiet. And watching the fish in the water. Lovely place for contemplation.
It's uplifting to walk around the Diaspora Gardens. I take my dog on a lead. It's good to see people taking the air, getting a bit of exercise. Families seem to enjoy the safe play areas. I go there all year round.
Flat wheelchair accessible area. Lovely sheltered small gardens to sit sheltered from the wind. Amazing adventure playground for children. Lots of information boards around about the industrial goings-on.
