Had a brilliant 'minimoon' here. Egret house was a lovely place to stay, felt privileged being its first guessed. Friendly and helpful staff/owner. Brilliant views.
I have been to Head Fen a couple of times in the last month. The lakes are well kept and cared for and the fishing was very enjoyable. We caught; bream, roach, perch and some lovely common carp.
Went yesterday and fished Trevs. My son and me had a great day, caught a few nice bream and managed to land a lovely common carp. Both of us had a fair few that got away. But this is fishing and not just catching fish like some commercial places with carp with bad mouths. I'd rather catch a few nice fish than loads of fish that haven't been handled right when caught. We'll be back.
I’d love to tell you what a fantastic lake this is, and how well kept the grounds are etc, but if I do, more people may come...;) so please ignore me
