Went in winter so quiet but can get busy and limited parking. Nice muddy walk today. Buzzards and kestrel flying around. Great for pics

Amazing place to visit. Parking is a little tricky all on the side of the road but we got a space fine, you may need to parallel park. The site of the viaduct is very photogenic and poses for many photo opportunities. You can make your way through the gate and walk under the viaduct where you will see the tunnel like centre which is very unique and great to see. Makes a amazing backdrop. We made our way along the side where you can cross a little River to get to the other end of the viaduct . Here the ovals are smaller which look good to. You can see the trains cross over the bridge from afar. You can stand in the centre ovals t The bridge is big enough to find your own spot if is a bit busy. Seeing the way the bridge is make is truly spectacular. We then took a nice walk across the road on the opposite side along the river Ouse which is a short walk to the Ardingly reservoir. A great day out for everyone ️

A lovely walk. Can be very muddy in places if there has been a wet weather spell so wellies or waterproof shoes are a must. Park at the Ardingly Reservoir carpark if you wish to combine a lovely walk with the visit, otherwise, if you only wish to see the Viaduct, you can park on the road across from the location. The Viaduct is a fantastic architectural structure. Very interesting. Looks like a scene from a Harry Potter movie. Worth a visit.

Cracking little location this; popular with photographers, especially when the weather is good. There is a small off road parking spot on the road from the M23, but please don't disturb the residents or block any gateways. The view of the viaduct is stunning, but take a walk along the permitted footpath and marvel at the construction. The arched recesses in each pillar make for funky photos, but clearly add to the robust nature of the viaduct. We had a little picnic in the field beyond, looking back towards where we parked. Stunning.
