Poor customer service. I fully understand Covid restrictions - on visiting the shop in Stow I entered the shop to be told to stay outside in a rude condescending manner. There was one customer in the shop. I asked for a price list and was refused. I wished to purchase a bottle of fine Red Burgundy for a relatives birthday. I suggest a reflection of communication style is needed for the young salesman with horn rim glasses. I have now ordered a bottle from the Wine Society.
By far my favourite wine merchant; I've almost stopped buying it from anywhere else, despite it being a lengthy drive from my house. Why? Because I have never had anything from there that is less than truly excellent for the price, and it's all wines you will have to work hard to find elsewhere.
Excellent service and really helpful advice.
Welcoming and very helpful
